If a seller wants to import shipping tracking data from any FTP location using xls/csv/txt format, following steps are to be followed to create an auto setup so ChannelSale will keep importing the file from FTP location at a set frequency.
Go to > My Account > Account Settings > FTP/HTTP Settings
Under FTP Details, select process type as Shipping Tracking Import
Add the FTP address, User Name and Password
Mention the file name that needs to be imported
Select feed type as custom and mention the file format we will be importing.
Column name will be the first row
You can add any email id for feed notification
Skip number of rows will be 1
Sheet name would be applicable if excel file is being imported
Scheduler frequency can be every hour and hit save and import the setup.
Global field mapping window will pop up. Map the fields that are to be imported from the file and save.
System will keep importing the file from FTP location at the set frequency.
